As an essential business under the governor's recent order, we are encouraged to stay open, and we are doing that. Like everyone else, our concern is for the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the community at large. We have modified our hours to Noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays until further notice.
At 22three, we already disinfect counter tops, keyboards, pens, and all frequently touched surfaces multiple times throughout the day. Currently, we are increasing the frequency of this and we are using products with bleach. We disinfect the training room before each class.
We are limited the number of people in the store at any given time. We are also limiting the size of all classes (see more on that below.)
STAFF has been instructed to WASH THEIR HANDS HOURLY – at a minimum – more if needed.
STAFF has been instructed to also WASH THEIR HANDS after blowing their nose, sneezing, etc. or using the bathroom (obviously). But, we do this anyway. 😊
STAFF has been instructed NOT TO SHAKE HANDS with customers. But, we’ll still be the friendliest, most helpful range around. 😊
STAFF has been instructed NOT TO SHARE THE PHONES. Two sales team members will be tasked to carry the phones on them – handling incoming and outgoing calls – and then disinfecting them before changing shifts and handing off to the next staffer.
Guns on display and on our rental wall are disinfected daily (and will continue to be periodically throughout the day) followed by gun-lubricant to keep them looking good.
Class size is reduced! This will help us to keep the total number of people in one room below the current guidelines. Our intent it to do a maximum of 6 students in any given class. This will give every student his or her own table in our training room and every student his or her own lane in the shooting bay for the live-fire portion of the class.
Our shooting bays have an industrial HVAC system that uses HEPA filters. This powerful system purges 25% of the air every minute – meaning that in the shooting bays, air is completely recycled every 4 minutes. (That’s why our range air is and always has been so clean and fresh and one reason customers love shooting here!) We are also spraying bleach on the shooting mats periodically and at the end of each day.
