This is a pre-owned unfired Colt Single Action Army revolver. This one is a new manufactured Colt that was purchased and never fired. It still had the zip tie from the original dealer that would not allow the cylinder to rotate. The cylinder has not been turned and has no turn mark.

The Colt Single Action Army, the Peacemaker, was originally introduced in 1873--no more sculptural and practical Colt has ever been created. This revolver features a polished spur hammer, black composite eagle stocks, and 2nd generation-style cylinder bushing.

The Colt Single Action Army is a family of single-action revolvers chambered in more than 30 different calibers. The standard U.S. military revolver from 1873-1892 the Single Action Army was used in the Mexican-American War among others. This revolver have a 5.5 inch barrel. The Gun That Won the West was also the preferred side arm of General George Patton throughout his career.
